Funky Foam and Felt Mushroom Bobbin Saver

Here is my entry for the May made it challenge advertised on the following blog:

http://woolhogs.wordpress.com/2014/05/04/the-may-made-it-challenge-off-to-a-mighty-fine-start/

I sculpted a mushroom out of funky foam and through stitching and forming the underside created a storage device for bobbins. The top is soft enough to use as a pin cushion and the stalk is great for transporting the bobbins around. I’ve found that it doesn’t matter which way up the mushroom is. The bobbins stay safely in place. Pleased with this make, which is why I’m entering it for the May Made it Challenge. Hope you like it too 🙂
